TRUCK CAB STYLES
Truck manufacturers typically offer four types of cab configurations- regular cab, extended cab, crew cab, and extended crew cab.
Regular Cab- These are two-door vehicles with only one row of seating. These trucks usually have more room in the bed and makes them ideally suited for towing and hauling.

Extended Cab: These are two- or four-door trucks with two rows of seats. The second row is typically smaller than the first row, with less legroom.
Here are the manufacturer-specific names for extended cab trucks:
- Chevrolet - Double/Extended Cab
- Ford - SuperCab
- GMC - Double/Extended Cab
- Ram - Quad Cab
- Toyota - Access/Double Cab
- Nissan - King Cab

Crew Cab: This style of cab has 4 full-size doors and larger back seats than the extended cab. This is the term used by Chevrolet, GMC, Nissan, and Ram. This kind of truck has ample room for four or more.
Here are the manufacturer-specific names for crew cab trucks:
- Ford - SuperCrew (150), Crew Cab (250/350)
- Ram - Crew Cab
- Chevrolet - Crew Cab
- GMC - Crew Cab
- Nissan - Crew Cab
- Toyota - Crewmax (Tundra), Double Cab (Tacoma)

Extended Crew Cab: This is a crew cab configuration plus extra room for storage and passengers.
It may also have a longer bed than than extended and crew cab trucks. Somtimes it has dual rear wheel configations.
